Yesterday our membership to RetrofitWorks was confirmed. This is a network of small to medium enterprises aimed at reducing CO2 emissions as well as household energy bills. The cooperative is multi-stakeholder and owned by its members, making it the first of its kind in the UK.
Other members of RetrofitWorks include experienced builders, installers and architects – all of us specialising in retrofitting energy saving measures into homes, including things like insulation, double glazing, heating systems and renewable technologies
The Smart Homes scheme with Haringey Council
RetrofitWorks have recently been signed up by Haringey Council to help deliver their Smart Homes programme, which is a £6,000 grant available to residents in Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest to help fund energy saving measures to help theirs homes warmer and greener.
We are delighted to be a part of the RetrofitWorks Scheme and we can’t wait to get stuck into the Smart Homes project and other schemes that kick off in time.
