Boilers

Boilers are central to the heating system in the majority of homes in the UK, providing hot water as well as heating. Older boilers can be as little as 60% efficient, so replacing your existing boiler with a new one can result in significant energy savings. The main reason new boilers are more efficient is that they are condensing. When fuel burns, the waste gases are expelled from the boiler via the flue – but inevitably some heat also leaves via the flue. In condensing boilers, a heat exchanger recovers this heat from the waste exhaust gases before they are expelled, so the efficiency of these boilers is often up above 90%.

Boilers

Boilers are designed to provide the heating and hot water in your home. They are the perfect solution when they are working, because they just get on quietly with their job – the issue comes of course when they breakdown! When it comes to replacing your old or broken boiler it can be an absolute minefield to make sure you get the right system for your home. Is it worth installing a combi boiler? Do you need a Mega flo? Should you install a Worcester Bosch or a Vaillant boiler? For the last 5 years, we have been helping homes and businesses install new replacement heating systems. We can help you understand your heating options and then use our trusted network of installers to ensure you get a new efficient heating system at a great price. All of our installer network are PAS2030 certified and gas safe, so the boilers can be installed under the Green Deal / GDHIF schemes. If you would like a quote for a new heating system please fill in the form on the right hand side of the page or give us a call on 0208 144 0897.
